Skin-tag & Wart Removal
Skin tag is a small, soft piece of tissue that hangs off the skin by a connective stalk, while warts have rough textures with an irregular surface. Both skin tags and warts can develop anywhere on your skin including sensitive body parts. It can be difficult to distinguish between the two conditions especially for patients who never developed a skin tag or wart before. One key difference is that warts are caused by virus while skin tags can develop from a variety of causes including weight, hormones, and friction.
One of the most effective treatment methods to remove skin tags and warts is to cauterize the lesion by using a small device that delivers heat directly to the skin tag or wart, destroying the tissue. The benefit of this procedure is the process generally avoids scarring and prevents the area from bleeding. After the procedure, it is imperative to keep the area dry for 48 hours before being able to wash with care.
